⚠️
A cell phone number and good cell service are required to receive text (SMS) codes. You will be prompted to confirm sign-in regularly. Ensure you have your cell phone with you when you are accessing Sask Polytech services. If you are unable to receive text codes (SMS) due to travel, or inconsistent cell service, set up a different sign-in method through the
Microsoft Authenticator app.
⚠️
Satellite campuses: Many of our satellite campuses, like Ave W in Saskatoon, include areas where cell service is poor, and text codes may not work. Use the
Microsoft Authenticator app while connected to
eduroam Wi-Fi instead.
Learn how to set up and sign in using text codes (SMS) sent to your cell phone. There are four ways to sign in to Sask Polytech using passwords, codes, PINs or touch. Everyone must create a password and will be required to set up a second option at first sign-in. The technical term for this process is called multi-factor authentication (MFA). Having multiple sign-in options provides better password recovery and crucial account security.

Seeing more sign-in prompts? We have recently updated our IT security protocols. You are required to use multi-factor authentication each time you sign in on a device and application. This is a necessary security measure and you will be prompted periodically in accordance with our updated policies. If you are having sign-in issues, please try
resetting your password before submitting a
sign-in trouble ticket.
The next time you sign in to Sask Polytech services, you will be asked to use MFA.
- Enter your user name (in the format username@saskpolytech.ca) and your password.
You will be asked to enter the verification code sent to your mobile phone.
- Enter the verification code as indicated.
- Click Verify.

- Your sign in is now complete, you will be taken to the service you are attempting to sign into.
