Transfer calls on your Yealink phone

MP50: Personal phone that only works with your computer

Transferring calls is configured on your device using the call window. See using Microsoft Teams for phone calls under the "Transferring calls" tab".

MP52: Basic standalone phone for shared desks

ℹ️ The MP54 model is used in shared locations or for multi-person use on campus only. This model is powered by a direct network (Internet) connection and is operated using manual buttons.

1. Find the transfer icon on the screen and select the button below it to transfer your call.

2. Select "Transfer now" using the "OK" button on the arrow pad. Your original call will be placed on hold.

3. Hit the button under the dialpad option to input a phone number. You can also use the search function to search for a contact within Sask Polytech.

4. Your original call will remain on hold until you either connect with the new receiver or they are unable to answer.

5. If you'd like to consult with someone before transferring, repeat steps 2-4 using the "Consult first" option.

MP54-E2: Touchscreen standalone phone for boardrooms and executives

ℹ️ The MP54-E2 model is used in shared locations or for multi-person use on campus only. This model is powered by a direct network (Internet) connection and features a touchscreen.

1. Select the "Transfer" button on the touchscreen while on a call.

2. Select "Transfer now" for a direct transfer or "Consult first" to let someone know you're transferring a call or to give additional context for the call.

3. Type the person's/area's name or phone number.

4. You will be placed on hold while the call transfers. You can end the call before or after the new person picks up. The caller will remain on the line with the person you transferred them to.
