How do I pay for parking in visitor parking lots?
HonkMobile App:
- Please see instructions on how to download the App.
Coin payment:
- Do not press any buttons on the machine, the machine activates when coin is inserted. Insert coins into the coin slot until you are satisfied with the expiry time displayed in the clock window. By inserting the maximum payment into the meter your expiry receipt will be for 10:00 p.m. Each deposited coin is acknowledged by the meter and shown on the LED screen. The clock window reflects your expiry time.
- Insert your coins slowly to ensure all coins register.
- If you wish to extend your parking stay with coin payment, as long as the multiple pay and display stubs are ALL visible on the dash, the patroller will add the dollar amounts together and extend the expiry time.
- Once you reach the total payment for your desired duration of stay, and before pressing the Print (green) button be sure the correct amount is displayed on the LED screen. If the payment is too little or not enough you can turn the red cancel button and start the transaction again. A receipt for your dashboard will be produced in the slot in the bottom right side of the meter. By pressing the Print Ticket button (green) you accept responsibility for your transaction. The meter does not provide change.
- Place the receipt in plain view on your dashboard with expiry time face up. To avoid confusion, please remove all pastdated pay and display tickets from your dash and display only the current day pay and display ticket. It is always a good idea to check that your pay and display ticket is clearly displayed from the outside of your vehicle after exiting.
Credit card payment:
- Do not press any buttons on the machine, the machine activates when a credit card is inserted. Insert the credit card stripe down to the right into the credit card slot. Push the card until you feel resistance and the card cannot go further.
- Leave the card until meter instructs you to Take Your Card Back.
- Remove your card.
- Payment with $0.00 should be showing on the LED display.
- To select time to park, press the Time button or Maximum Time button below the credit card slot. By pressing the Time button once you receive one hour of parking, twice provides two hours, three times provides three hours of parking, and four times provides four hours of parking. If you press the Time button five times the meter flashes Maximum Amount Reached and provides you with a receipt expiring at 10:00 p.m. If you wish to extend your parking stay with credit card payment, as long as the multiple pay and display tickets are ALL visible on the dash, the patroller will add the dollar amounts together and extend the expiry time.

How can I find out if my parking was processed through the HonkMobile App?
Once you’ve paid for parking, you will receive a receipt by email. You can view all your transactions by visiting the Receipts page in your profile.
I have multiple credit cards. How do I know which one will be charged if using the HonkMobile App?
You can add multiple payment methods to your HonkMobile account and assign nicknames to each. Upon checkout, you can select the card you’d like to charge. Just like vehicles, you can set a primary payment method. We recommend adding notes to your sessions by tapping ‘Add Notes’.
What if I pay for parking for the wrong license plate using the HonkMobile App?
Please make another purchase (right away so you don’t get a ticket!) with the correct license plate and email BOTH violations to: support@honkmobile.com. Your first purchase will be refunded.
I have more than one vehicle plate number on my HonkMobile account. How can I make sure the correct vehicle is being parked each time?
You can add multiple vehicles to your HonkMobile account. When paying by phone, you can pick the license plate of the vehicle you’re parking. For faster checkout, you can set a plate as your primary vehicle so it’ll be selected for you automatically.
Why did I receive a parking violation on my vehicle?
Parking violations are issued for one of the following reasons:
- Patron failed to pay for parking
- Patron paid for parking but did not display receipt correctly
- Patron paid for parking but receipt expired by more than 10 minutes
- Patron failed to park in appropriate lot

How do I dispute a parking violation?
You can dispute the violation and put your claim in writing to Precise ParkLink (West) Ltd. within 7 days Instructions for disputing are located on the back of the violation.
A copy of your parking violation and your contact information must accompany all inquiries. Disputes or inquiries may only be sent via mail or scanned (pictures are acceptable) and emailed to saskatoon@preciseparklink.ca. Response time may vary.
Should your violation remain unpaid or otherwise disputed for more than 60 days, it will then go to the Credit Bureau for collections and additional service fees will apply.
How does parking enforcement know I’ve paid through HonkMobile?
HonkMobile partners with lot operators to serve a real-time list of license plates who have paid using the App. You don’t need a ticket stub or receipt to place on the dashboard.
How much is my parking violation?
If the parking violation is paid within thirty days, the cost is $40 (GST included). After thirty days, the parking violation is $60 (GST included).

What happens if my violation is sent to the Credit Bureau?
If a parking violation remains unpaid for more than 60 days, the violation will be forwarded to a collection agency and/or credit bureau, additional administration fees may be added.

Where do I display the parking slip on my motorcycle?
Pay and display slips must be displayed on the motorcycle either tucked in the fuel tank, on the seat or windshield.
I paid for parking in a specific lot but the lot is full, can I park elsewhere?
Yes, if the lot is full and you have already paid for parking, you are able to park in another student lot that has available spots.
Why are there different parking rates at other campus cities?
Sask Polytech considers parking rates and local market conditions of each campus city.

Sask Polytech periodically reviews and adjusts parking rates as necessary. Funds generated by Sask Polytech from parking go towards operational costs as well as general revenue to support and enhance programs, services and strategic initiatives.
