What do I need to know before I book a locker?
You will need a Sask Polytech email and password to login to mySaskPolytech to access the locker rental site.
Visit campus before you book your locker and ensure you know where your program/class is so you can choose your locker accordingly. If you select and pay for a locker then need to change locker locations, a change fee of $25 will be charged.
How do I access the locker booking app?
You need a mySaskPolytech login to access the locker booking site.
- Log in to mySaskPolytech.
- Find the Important Links for Students card that is locked on your homepage.
- Scroll down on the card, click on the Lockers link.
- Once the Online Locker Rental page opens, click on Log In. You will automatically be directed to the home page.
How do I book a locker?
Log in to mySaskPolytech, find the Important Links for Students card, scroll down and select the Lockers link. Once the Online Locker Rental page opens, click on Log In. You will automatically be directed to the home page.
- Select: + New Rental
- Select a rental start date
- Choose the Building that you will require a locker in
- Choose the Floor
- Choose a Locker Bank and hit the Search button
- You can refer to the facility locker map located below the locker type
- Choose an available locker from the list then click the Next button
- Choose a Rental term
- Read and accept the terms and conditions
- Enter your payment information
- Upon submitting your locker request, you will receive a confirmation email and your locker will be displayed on the Home page.
Do I need a Sask Polytech email to book a locker?
Yes, you will need a Sask Polytech email and mySaskPolytech account to login to book a locker.
How long can I rent a locker for?
Lockers can be rented for the full academic year or per semester/term. An eight (8) week rental option is also available for apprenticeship students.
Can I rent a day-locker?
Day lockers are only available in SIM lab areas only for students attending those labs. Students will require their own lock. You are not able to book day lockers online through this booking method.
How do I cancel my locker rental?
On the Student home page, under your active rentals, click Return. Enter Return in the box and enter the reason for your return. Upon submitting your request, the locker will be removed from your list. We do not offer refunds for locker returns.
How do I renew my locker?
On the Student home page, under your active rentals, click Renew. Select the rental term. Complete the payment process. Your renewed locker will appear on the student home page and you will receive a confirmation email.
How far in advance can I book a locker/Can I book my locker before my term starts?
Lockers can be booked up to 30 days in advance. Each semester/term has pre-set start and end dates. The monthly apprenticeship term runs 30 days from the selected start date.
Can I book a locker using my phone?
Yes. You can use any device that connects to the internet to access the locker rental site. However, Chrome is the preferred browser. Some devices or browsers may display the site and content differently or components (such as maps) may not be accessible.
Fees and payments
How much does it cost to rent a locker?
We have several options for locker rental terms based on the needs of our students.
- Academic year: $60
- Eight weeks (Apprenticeship students): $20
- Semester/term: $35
All rentals are subject to GST.
What payment methods are accepted?
Sask Polytech accepts Visa, Mastercard, Visa debit, Mastercard debit and pre-paid credit cards online for locker payments.
Who manages the lockers at Saskatchewan Polytechnic?
Lockers are managed by Facilities Management and Development.
Locks and combinations
Do I need to supply my own lock?
No, a lock is provided on each locker. The combination will be provided to you on the day your locker rental begins.
Can I use my own lock?
No, only the lock provided by the office of Facilities Management and Development can be used on the locker. Locks provided are the full responsibility of the renter. A $50 fee will be charged directly to your student account for a replacement lock if lost or damaged.
What is my locker combination?
The combination will be available on the day your locker rental begins under your active rentals on the student home page of the locker booking app.
How do I open my combination lock?
Example combination number 21-13-34. Follow these steps:
- Firmly push the handles all the way into the base
- Turn three whole turns to the right and stop at the first number (21)
- Turn one whole turn to the left all the way around once, then stop at the second number (13)
- Turn right and stop at the last number (34)
My lock isn’t working or I can’t get my locker to open.
Submit a Facilities Service ticket. Include your name, campus, student ID and locker number. We will attempt to rectify the situation and notify you when the locker is accessible again.
Are there options for different lock styles?
Yes, we offer alternative lock styles. Push key locks are available to students with limited dexterity, difficulty remembering combinations or visual impairments. Simple combo locks are available to students with difficulty remembering combinations but who don‘t have dexterity challenges. If you require access to one of these lock styles, submit a Facilities Services ticket. Please include your full name, student ID number and campus location.
Locker selection
How do I choose a locker?
If you know what area of campus your program is located, you can log in and select a locker from the available lockers list. If you are unsure of where you need your locker, we encourage you to wait until you have been on campus to determine the best area. You can then log in and select your locker.
I can’t find a locker near my classroom. How do I get one closer to my classroom?
If you are unable to find a locker in your preferred location, you will need to secure a locker in another area. Campus locker maps are available for viewing on the locker booking app.
If I take online courses, do I need to apply for a locker?
No, if your courses are online you will not require a locker.
Can I change my locker location after I have already booked?
We strongly encourage you to wait until you arrive on campus to choose a locker or refer to the campus locker maps to ensure you choose a locker that is near your program area. If necessary, you can change your locker location; however, there will be a change location fee of $25, payable at the time of change. Select the Change button under your current rentals to begin the process.
How do I request an accessible locker?
If you require an accessible locker on campus, please email submit a Facilities Services ticket and include your name, campus, student ID and contact phone number we will work with you to provide the best possible option.

If you are new to Saskatchewan Polytechnic, your username and password will be sent to you shortly after you have applied to a program or registered for a course.
